Achieving success in the Best Bank 2013 competition, Sberbank CZ was named Most Client-Friendly Bank 2013. Honoured and pleased, Sberbank CZ views this acknowledgment as a clear message from you – our clients – that we are on the right track. Last year, Sberbank CZ (then as Volksbank CZ) was placed seventh in this category.

In the Most Client-Friendly Bank category, the banks are evaluated from the perspective of clients – the main criteria being: bank account maintenance fees, penalties and extraordinary fees, interest rates, product and service portfolio, availability and, last but not least, client communication. The ranking is the result of independent survey of several months.

Organised by a Czech business daily (Hospodářské noviny) for the fifth year in a row, the Best Bank competition sees annual winners in two main categories – Most Client-Friendly Bank and Best Bank.

In the Best Bank category, shareholder’s criteria evaluating the bank’s management and stability have an additional weight of 50%.  In this category, Sberbank CZ was placed fifth – a nice jump upwards from the seventh position taken last year.
